M.A. Folkes was founded in April 1997 by Michael Folkes with a clear vision: to provide innovative, value-added manufacturing, packaging, and logistics services that allow businesses to stay focused on their core competencies.
Over the years, the company has continued to evolve, expanding its capabilities to include advanced warehousing, shipping, specialized packaging, asset recovery and reuse, and real-time customer account visibility. This growth reflects a commitment to delivering efficient, flexible solutions that meet the changing needs of modern supply chains.
Michael’s commitment extends beyond business. In April 2014, he established the Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation in honor of his grandfather, supporting students at Mount Waddy Primary School in Friendship, St. Ann, Jamaica, where Michael grew up, along with additional initiatives in the United States.
Today, M.A. Folkes operates from its corporate headquarters at 3095 McBride Court in Hamilton, Ohio, just North of Cincinnati, and is recognized as a certified Minority Business Enterprise through the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council, a member of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and nationally certified by the Small Business Administration.
